Crochet at the Centre – Norman Centre will take place from Monday 15 January to Saturday 10 February 2024 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Crochet at the Centre places this therapeutic handicraft at the centre of Bridgetown for community empowerment and economic development.
During the event, attendees can participate in three crochet activities:-
- Crochet for a Cause, our cornerstone community empowerment and environmental partnership project where we create land and sea replicas to bring environmental awareness.
- Crochet School is Cool, our flagship course which will run on Saturdays from 10:00 – 12:00pm at a cost of BBD$80
- Craft Centre Contributor which allows handcrafters to be “Craft Centre Contributors” to display their products for sale at a daily space rental rate of BBD40.00
Elaine’s Caribbean Crochet will provide the yarn, crochet hooks, supporting tools and resources (i.e. patterns, knitting machines etc.) to facilitate these activities.
