Looking for a fun, productive, and creative activity for your child during the May mid-term break?

Our Beginner Crochet Workshop is the perfect opportunity for young creators to learn a new skill, build confidence, and create beautiful handmade projects from scratch.

Designed especially for children and teens aged 10–17, this exciting 2-day workshop takes place on 21–22 May 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is perfect for those with no crochet experience at all.

What’s in Store?

Participants will be introduced to the world of crochet through fun, beginner-friendly projects while learning foundational stitches step by step.

They will create:

• Chain Stitch Flower – Learn the basics with a simple and beautiful starter project.
• Single Crochet Bag – Build confidence while creating a practical handmade item.
• Double Crochet Tam – Learn shaping and structure through wearable crochet.
• Treble Crochet Bracelet – Practice advanced beginner stitches with a stylish accessory.
• Each project is designed to help students understand crochet fundamentals while allowing them to proudly take home their own creations.

• Cost: $150 per participant for the 2-day workshop
• Location: Elaine’s Creative Studio, Norman Centre, Broad Street, Bridgetown
• All Materials Provided: Crochet hooks, yarn, and project supplies are included.
• Lunch: We recommend supporting the Food Court, as food is not allowed inside the studio. If students choose to leave the compound for lunch, parents and guardians are asked to make the necessary arrangements and ensure students return on time for the afternoon session.
