You found me! I’m part of a movement to protect the sea — one stitch at a time. Welcome to Crochet for a Cause — where craft meets climate action.
You just discovered a handcrafted piece from our Crochet for a Cause: Ridge to Reef project. Each item (lettuce coral, fish, shell, turtle) was made by a Caribbean woman or girl as part of an environmental awareness and empowerment program.
Our Crochet for a Cause: Ridge to Reef project has enabled more than 250 women and girls across the Caribbean to access resources, develop new skills, and receive helpful tools.
We are happy to share that the products of this project are now available for sale. More importantly, part proceeds of this sale will be donated to CORALL for coral reef restoration.
Coral reefs protect our coasts, support marine life, and feed our communities. But pollution, climate change, and overfishing are destroying them. With every stitch, we’re raising awareness and funding restoration through CORALL.
Each piece was made with love and purpose by a Caribbean woman learning skills to change her life and protect her island.
