Elaine’s Caribbean Crochet was fortunate to participate in the community-driven, Republic Bank Market Day, held at the UWI Guild Lawns Car Park, on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Creating an exciting atmosphere for families, food lovers, and community supporters, the event brought together local entrepreneurs, a lively kids’ zone, and delicious food stalls, all while offering free entry to the public.
Elaine’s used the opportunity to shine a spotlight on Unique Designs by Amorelle, a crochet business by Esther Davis. Known for her creative craftsmanship and attention to detail, Esther’s work drew admiration from visitors who were excited to see authentic, handmade pieces rooted in artistry and culture.
The event provided the perfect platform to celebrate local talent, encourage entrepreneurship, and connect with the wider community.
In addition, Crochet for a Cause was also on display, showcasing how creativity can be used to build awareness, inspire action, and make a positive impact on our communities.
Elaine’s continues to support artisans by providing opportunities to showcase their work and engage with audiences who value originality and skill.
We thank Republic Bank for creating this space and look forward to future events that highlight the incredible talent within our community.
