Crochet for a Cause: Ridge to Reef project Caribbean brings together participants and new attendees to increase the reach and impact of this unique programme which highlights environmental protection.

The Caribbean element of the project will be hosted online via ZOOM on Wednesdays in November from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.

Crochet artisans will:-

1.  learn new patterns. This redounds to an increase in product offering for income generation
2.  develop new skills. This will assist with enhancing their services to customers.
3.  interact and learn from each other. Meeting crocheters from different countries will allow for cultural exchange.
4.  promote environmental protection. This is critical during this time where climate change continues to negatively impact the environment.

Using various resources collated over the two-year implementation of the programme, Crochet for a Cause Caribbean will give participants the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the different ways crochet can be used for environmental awareness.
