A Stitch of Rest

A Stich of Rest is a 4-part group devotional encouraging us to find rest in Jesus Christ, while using the artform of crochet.

The devotional focuses on scripture verses related to rest, providing patterns for the creation of a blanket, prayer shawl, cushion cover, and altar display.

The key verses used within include Psalm 116:7, Isaiah 30:15, Matthew 11:28-29, and Hebrews 4:9-11.

Each verse is explained by referencing real-life experiences using crochet terms and techniques for holistic understanding.

A Stitch of Rest is perfect for a women’s group seeking to use art as a means of coming together over the word of God. It gives clear guidelines for leading the session as a group or personal reflection time with the Master.

We thank you for joining this devotional and look forward to hearing how it has helped you to find rest in Him.
