Elaine’s Caribbean Crochet is delighted to share that our handcrafted crochet replicas were recently included in the swag bags at the opening ceremony of the Caribbean Conference on Leadership Development (CCLD) 2025, held from May 22 – May 25 in Toronto, Canada.
As part of our Crochet for a Cause: Ridge to Reef initiative, delegates received crochet replicas in their conference bags.
Each piece, inspired by coral reefs and marine life, was carefully crafted to symbolize the link between creativity, conservation, and community.
By placing these replicas directly in the hands of regional leaders, policymakers, and innovators, we highlighted the artistry of Caribbean crochet and also sparked meaningful conversations about sustainability, climate action, and the power of cultural expression in advancing development.
